The Flatlands takes the viewer through the very visceral experience of fly-fishing in one of the worlds last untouched expanses, the Rio Pico region in Argentina.

With The Flatlands, we set out to make a film where the audience members would feel like participants in the journey and adventure. We didn't want to see another film where the people watching would simply feel like observers of others who experienced the journey and adventure. Most people will never go to this part of the world, in Patagonia, Argentina, so if we can give the viewer a taste of what it really feels like and sounds like to be down there - I feel like we did our jobs.
